Ministering to the needs of those around us is one of the Christian’s biggest responsibilities. All throughout Scripture we see Christ’s example of not only reaching out to his neighbors, friends, family but also to everyone He came in contact with. We desire to do the same in the local church and in our community.
“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” – Matthew 9:36
